Renovations
and remodeling……when it comes to your home most consumers are
thinking about projects inside of their house. However, all they
have to do is open their back door and there is a whole new world of
possibility waiting outside for them. I am talking about pool
renovations……from a simple equipment upgrade, to a total

where they spend their vacation days in their own home. Why not
thoroughly enjoy the pool you have and make it the best it can be?
Do you have a peeling or cracked pool deck and cantilever? You can
transform your deck by having it set with new renovation pavers and
coping. Do you want to update your equipment and transition to a
newer cost efficient “green” pool? You can change from a traditional
chlorinator to a new salt system, update your oversized pool pump to
a new energy efficient variable speed pump, and add a solar panel
package to heat your pool naturally. Do you have broken or outdated
tiles and rough stained plaster? You can give your pool a facelift

happen. For example, you may have recently purchased a home in Palm
Coast with a twenty year old non-enclosed pool that has cracked pool
tiles, equipment issues, no spa, and has very minimal deck space.
Your pool contractor would meet with you to design your new pool
area, set your time schedule and budget, and pull any necessary
building permits to complete the work. They would first drain the
pool and remove all existing waterline and cap tile in the pool.
They would address any issues with the pool shell and bring all of
your fittings and drains up to code. They could form and pour a deck
extension to give you more space for both a new spa and more deck
square footage. They would create a new raised spa and complete all
the necessary plumbing to allow your pool and spa to work together.
Any necessary pool and spa equipment would then be updated or added.
The new spa and the existing pool would then be tiled and plastered.
The entire existing deck, pool and spa cantilever, and newly formed
deck could then be either sprayed with acrylic and painted or set
with new pavers and coping …..it would all look brand new and would
all look like it was one complete project versus a renovation or
addition. From there, you could even go further by adding a screen
enclosure, fire pit, summer kitchen, lush tropical landscaping, etc.
to compliment your home and create your own personal outdoor
paradise.
